Unfortunately they would not let me participate with my wife who was a patient and she is looking for an excuse to stop so this will likely be it. Wouldn’t let me walk on the indoor track while she was here :-(. Even though insurance was paying $150/day for my wife to attend.
They say it was for liability reasons but wouldn’t let me sign a waiver. Not very family friendly.
Thank you for your response. I only asked to be able to walk the track, something that requires no maintenance and doesn’t impact fitness members who use the rest of the facilities. Allowing a designated driver for cardio rehab patients to spend the time waiting, walking the track would improve the health of all involved. Just a thought.
Terrific facility. Lots of options for walking, running, machines, three pools, terrific staff. Would note that there are a lot of adult exercisers who are rehabbing or keeping up health as they age. Not as many young people as other gyms.
(Although my husband’s name is listed above, this review was written by myself, Nancy Pevets.)
As an almost-70 year-old with IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable and irreversible lung ailment,) as well as balance issues caused by a bone l shattered in my right foot during a fall several years ago, l was hesitant to join the Fitness Pavilion.
However, that decision has had a life-changing, positive impact on my life and health. Justin gave me a thorough orientation as to the proper use of the equipment.
Parmjit’s chair yoga classes have helped me relax, learn to breathe more deeply, and gain strength and balance.
My latest venture has really surprised me. When l first joined Julie’s DanceFit class, l had to hold on to the wall or barre for balance. I struggled to pivot, kick, and move without stumbling. I struggled to catch my breath. But, three months later, my balance, strength, and agility (along with my breathing) are vastly improved.
I heartily recommend the TriHealth Fitness Pavilion to any of my older contemporaries.
TriHealth Pavilion is a superior facility- very clean, well staffed and mostly very "adult". The fitness equipment is excellent and I truly appreciate the self-monitoring aspect of the machines. The fitness staff is generally very good. They are very supportive of the members who are older or have special needs. The locker rooms are nicely appointed and maintained. The quality of classes are very good. My only wish is that there were more classes offered in late afternoon/evening hours for those of us who still work. We used to go to Blue Ash Y and switched after my husband did therapy in the warm water pool. It is nice to work out without sharing the facilities with running, noisy kids. Don't get me wrong- I am a teacher- love kids and also enjoy getting a break from them!
The swimming lessons they offer for members and non-members are great. The teachers are very knowledgeable and work to engage and teach the kids
I have had physical therapy here several times over the years. This includes aqua therapy in one of their two pools. The therapists are, in my opinion, great. Always with a lookout to your comfort, yet still making sure they are doing all they can to ensure your therapy progression.
Although I've never had the pleasure of working out in the gym, or running on the indoor track, I have seen them and was very impressed.
The Pavilion has so much to offer it would take pages to list it all. And though membership may be a bit on the expensive side, it doesn't compare to the benefits they offer.
The facility is always neat and clean and I've never had a bad experience at the 'Pavilion'.
Wonderful atmosphere, very clean, outstanding equipment, staff are always available to help. The members are nice, too. I enjoy going, and always feel better after I do.
My daughter's birthday party was very poorly organized.. The pool party was not what I expected . .I was told the host would keep the kids busy with relay races and other activities but instead they just sat at the pool watching while the kids in our party were questioned by other adult guests of the pavilion if the were "members" because they were upset they were splashed ( during a private pool birthday party the pool is still available to other guests) by the time we got our pizza it was nearing the end of the party so several people had already left .. ( they forgot to order the pizza and have it ready for when the kids came back from the pool and they didn't . I asked when the pizza was coming and found out it wasn't ordered . I was asked if I could drive to go get the pizza and I said no so they finally went and got it ) staff really didn't seem to care . I did ask about getting a discount for all the issues and was given $20 off .
